DOUG BURSCH

"Not a Book, But a Message:  Communicating and Expanding your Message Through Print, Radio, Internet, Social Media, and Guest Speaking"

God doesn't want you to just write a book; He wants you to communicate a message.  Sometimes we limit God's purpose for our lives by too narrowly defining how God can use us.  I understand both desire and limitations.  At an early age I was passionate about God, however, I also struggled with some daunting limitations.  My dyslexia made many forms of early communication challenging and defeating.  My earliest attempts to communicate through writing or public speaking often ended in disappointment and heartache.  Even so, God helped me move beyond my perceived limitations.

In our time together I'll be talking about ways you can use every opportunity to communicate the message God has given you.  There are many free and inexpensive ways to "get the word out" to anyone who is willing to listen.  I'll specifically focus on understanding your work as something worth promoting through print, radio, internet, social media, and guest speaking.  Also, I'll give some advice on how to get and participate in a radio interview.  Most importantly, we'll have fun dreaming about how God will expand the reach of the message He has entrusted to your care.
