GIGI MURFITT: is an author, a speaker and a teacher at heart. She has published 2 books and has contributed to three compilation books and several magazines. She has been on the NCWA Board of Directors as Vice-President, President and is currently the Treasurer. Gigi is passionate about helping others succeed in writing and in life. She and her husband, Steve have raised two sons and are currently enjoying spoiling their first granddaughter. Together they run Gabriel's Foundation of HOPE, a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization sharing inspiration and HOPE to help families dealing with disability.
LOCATION
Get away on your own writing retreat without having to leave town. This writing weekend retreat is set in the beautiful location of Serenity House, a roomy, peaceful home in Edmonds with room for several overnight accommodations on a first-come, first-serve basis. This home has an indoor pool and sauna, a game room for fun and play and many beautiful nooks to tuck away to write. If you can't stay over night, you are welcome to come to both days anyway! Don't let anything stop you!

Prices include Friday pot-luck dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
